Guild gaming style

The dreaded question, and the basis of how all guilds are built.

What direction do we want to take this guild.

I realize it's still early in the development of the game and we only have maybe 1/10th of the core guild that will be playing with us, but it is never too early to start looking at a direction.

There are many ways to play this game and also directions the guild can go. I'm going to post a poll with lots of different directions the guild can go. As we get closer to launch and more members show interest in this game, then we can start narrowing down the choices and developing a better guild direction.

Also please discuss your choices and how you feel about different directions.

I'm probably going to be leveling much slower in this game then other MMO's. The fact this is a bioware game and they are adding so much story into it, I'm going to want to experience the entire story line.

I'm hesitant about the PvP stuff as I don't know how its going to be implimented yet.

I do want to see guild events for both PvP and PvE so there is something for everyone.

id like to see a bit of everything. i think the PvP and PvE should be in our guild. even if that means having two officers lead each group if we have to be on different servers. ill do whatever but i dont know how hardcore i can be on this. but most likely this game will take a lot of my free time xD

If you plan on playing this game with the clan on launch then yes you can vote on the polls. The results of the polls will determine the direction of the guild and also what type of server we play on. For roll call, I think you can sign roll call even if you are a recruit (if you are playing the specific game with the clan). Someone else should be able to answer that question better though. I haven't been in an active game for 4 to 5 years.

I'm almost positive that the guild won't go in 2 different directions on different servers. It would tear the guild apart to try and be in 2 places at once. It would also split the guild membership in half.

We'll be able to schedule PvP and PvE events however bioware implements the servers. (There has not been information released about how the PvP servers will be setup.)

We do know for a fact that there will be PvE instances based on flashpoints that are 90-120 minutes long. We can also do guild events for each character's story quests along with lots of other group content. PvP guild events can be scheduled for the Arena style battlegrounds (the only confirmed PvP content that has been released). Either way we can schedule PvE and PvP events no matter what type of server we are on.

Lets try not to piss off all the rebel guilds enough that they plan a spring break 72 hour fight against us this time. I still have nightmares about them attacking mos nova for 72 hours straight. When did they sleep, work, eat? (and they camped the spawn point at the medical center for the entire attack as well).

I'm still not sure whether to take it as a compliment that we killed them so many times they retaliated like that or just be pissed.

That was simply awesome!!

There were in fact 2 Major Battles that took place In mos Nova....The Seond one was when we had all of our bases at the western end of the city....
