Second I need to rant.

My lil sis loves minecraft and she got me hooked but she has an illegal copy so I was going to get it for her graduation but now apparently minecraft cannot take credit/debit cards from residents in IL.

So I was like WTF I bought it before and now they cant use paypal to purchase a gift code so uggh this blows lol.]]>

There has been a few new plugin updates and a few things I have needed to change the past few days.

In my rush to get everything updated I deleted the wrong file (go figure right) thankfully we have backups of the file and because of that its being fixed now but since I am not directly connected to the server this may take some time.

I am also replacing the LodeMines with a new map which seems to be pretty neat.

All of this does take time and I am working as fast as the connection between me and the server allows me to. I will make a post as soon as the server is back up.]]>

First of all, let me welcome you to BBF. This thread will serve as a tutorial to guide you through the steps of updating your username to add your recruit status clan tags [R] to your username.

If you are trying to change your username the same day you were inducted into the clan as a recruit, you will need a little patience. The reason being is that once the Game Commander (GC) for the game you have applied for accepts your application, there is a time delay before the forum updates your status. It's not a long delay in terms of days but it may take up to an hour for the request to be processed.

You want to have your browser directed to http://www.clanbbf.com and be logged in to the website. From there, look towards the top of the page to find the User CP link and click on it.

You should now find yourself navigating your user control panel page. The first thing you want to check is if the forum updated your account. Look at your username displayed under the Your Account Summary heading on the right panel. If your name is displayed in a Green font, the forum has successfully promoted you and you should have sufficient permissions to proceed to the next step.

On the left hand side of the page there is a large menu with numerous listings. The one that you will be interested in at this point is the Change Username link. Click on that.

At the change username page you will be asked to enter your current forum password as well as the new username you wish to display on the forums. Be sure to put your recruit tags [R] in front of your username before clicking the Update Username button.
