No offense to the 2 healers last night, you guys were great, but having 3 healers wouldn't hurt anything, considering we did great with 5 dps anyways (9 man), so a 10th could just be another healer for an overcompensation to make sure we down the boss.

Of course I wasn't at the raid on Tuesday night, but this is what I think from what I know ...

2 healers is on par with 10 man. IF, and I mean IF, we incorporated a 3rd healer, it would have to be a dps main that can toss a couple heals on an off tank. 2 healers that can pull off 40k+ hps is prefect. If they heal more than that, it means raid group os taking too much aoe damage (standing where they shouldn't).

From what I understand, DPS needs increased. For that, I suggest this ....

We NEEEEEED a warlock in the group. We are losing a ton of dps with 2 hunters and no lock. period.

Every single individual needs to be gearing up. A few heroics, a couple upgrades and LFR on MV = gear + opens HoF and terrace = all the gear you need. It takes time people but YOU have to do it. I cant help you gear up doing only 2 runs a week. You need to dedicate time to it and forget your transmog gear and pvp gear if pve raid gear is not up to par. DPS wins fights. If you cant down the boss before healers are OOM, we fail.

Also, as individuals, players need to RESEARCH their class. I promise you that if you browse the forums or youtube you will find the OPTIMAL rotation for your class, not to mention reforging and stat information. As an example, I run assassination spec. I am geared specced into anything and everything that helps me gain and energy and do damage (happens to be poisons). I run a 7.5% hit cap and 3.98 expertise simply because I do NOT NEED expertise for poisons. They can not be blocked, parried or dodged. That is a piece of information that without a little reading, I would have overlooked.

In order to be the best hunter, warlock, mage, etc .... you have to play your class to its full potential. Don't rely on what YOU THINK is the best and what has a pretty spell effect. Chances are, you might be missing something. My rotation is brain dead with 4 buttons (and 4 cooldowns). Every class has a similar optimal rotation for DPS. I do not deviate from it. I use it because it is the BEST and only truly effective rotation for an assassination rogue.

That also brings me to your spec. A lot of people play certain specs because they like them. However; in a raid environment (especially 10 man with limited class structure) changing your spec to optimize your potential is always warranted. Research talents and glyphs that will actually HELP you and the raid.

After you character is specced correctly, stats prioritized and your rotation known and used .... we come to learning the fights. There are MASSIVE amounts of world AOE and positional AOE in MV that cause people problems ... but once we clear MV and get into HoF ... the AOE is almost tripled. Learn the fights in MV. Pay attention to your feet and location. Watch the tanks health, the healers and watch for adds .... master MV and youll be 1 step closer to HoF .... the raid where people WIPE on the second trash mob pull more than the boss fights because of AOE and not understanding the pulls.

Summary: Need EVERYONE to do their part as individuals to benefit and contribute the raid group"

1. Dedicate time and energy to gearing up. Heroics > MV LFR > HoF LFR and Terrace LFR.
2. Spend your justice and valor points on UPGRADES!!
3. Reforge your gear to stats you NEED and will actually help your toon. All classes are different and all 3 specs are different.
4. Play the best class spec for your toon. Destruction for warlocks, assassination for rogue, etc.
5. LEARN AND USE THE BEST ROTATION POSSIBLE. YOU CAN FIND THE INFORMATION EVERYWHERE ....

If all DPS roles are filled by people pulling at least 40,ooo DPS .... a pretty small amount with just a few pieces of LFR gear .... downing bosses will be extremely easy with 2 healers.
