Seeing as how Detro chased off all of the viable PvP targets on our main server with his manly scent Ariakis and I were talking about having a little team on team PvP event on our hardly used PvP server. So I am making this post to get a few ideas as to what you guys would like to see. Ariakis brought up the idea of capture the Flag (stone). Which in this case would be each team has their own above ground base with a Flag stone at its center that they must defend. So what are your ideas?

I don't think stone should be used because you'll have to spend time mining it, which seems unfair. I think something that you pickup with E would be nice. Rebar, a Couch, a TV perhaps? I don't know, but something along those lines. Just an idea.


Also, Armor? I think everyone should have a chest with a certain amount of ammo and guns in it, that way if you get killed, you can respawn.

I can go a lot more into detail if needed, but some general ideas here.

Maybe have a torch on top we can take? The person who has the torch must run back with torch In hand the whole way to promote teamwork and must place it on top of their base as well.

Pretty good ideas guys. That covers some of the rules so what about bases? You guys think it would be better to let each team loose with cheat mode on for a couple hours or would it be better if I just found a couple prefabs and added them in?

I like Vox idea too and how bout some live count... can't respawn after being killed a certain amount or capture the torch 5 times.

Capturing 3x makes it easy and seeing how the accuracy is without any amount of suppression could make it easy for a few of us who are used to fps games.

Zodiac. I was thinking you and I could spawn in a pre-set amount of resources that could be modified in any fashion. The staging area would have storage chests and gun safes in each of those would be resources to build a base/bases or structures in and around the pre-determined battlefield.

Gun cabinets would have for example, 1 rocket launcher with 1 stack of rockets or less to keep from destroying the whole map in a matter of minutes, and multiple small arms with loads of ammo that also serves as a reloading point.

Death: 1 or 2 volunteers or admins to be referees. Players that die will spawn on their beds set in a spawn point area with no Line of Fire to the battlefield where the player maybe sits for a period of time ( Death Penalty) and then given the ok by the referee. <<< may be needed because some players may get the urge to spawn and run right back to the field?

That sounds pretty good ariakis. Doing it that way saves me a ton of time setting things up. I know one rule will be no underground bases. I will be a ref and we may need one more as well. I will lock the PvP server this Friday to prep it for this weekend. Ariakis if you can be on ts tonight we can go over some of the details.
