It isn't as fancy as most people's setup here, but I have an HP Pavilion g6... DONT LAUGH AT ME!!! ITS A MAJOR STEP UP FROM THE TOSHIBA SATELLITE I HAD!!!

Well I just have a £200ish dell optiplex 755 with some custom graphics card lol and some out dated monitor, its not too bad though, I just wish I had the money to spend on a good gaming rig, maybe when I get a job :P

Not trying to be rude Jicster, but Dell computers are costly in the long run. Something ALWAYS goes wrong with them and you end up spending more money on repairing them than you do with a different brand. Why do you think that places that use Dells have such a high repair rate/price?

In MY OWN experience, you would be better off getting some sort of HP computer. They are a bit pricier but my mom bought a $300 laptop at the time and the thing lasted for like 5 years before needing to be replaced. Probably not as good as something like an ASUS, but its a good starter computer
