A few of you know that for the last few days I have been fighting with my mother in laws laptop. This computer is only a year or so old and every few months in having to wipe it and start fresh because she gets the thing so infected it can basket run.

She shares up and down she isn't doing it lol.

Well this time I've had enough and have been making restore points along the way and before I give it back to her I wanted to see if anyone has any other.suggestions on programs to run and such.

So far I have

Avast and malwarbytes checked to run daily at 3am

I have installed teamviewer so I can connect to get laptop from my pc and fix any problems remotely.

My account on her laptop is the admin and her account is in child mode, however I haven't blocked her from any websites or anything.

If she wants to DL anything she need my PW which I have changed so she can't ask her daughter and get past the protection I have set up.

She is running Windows 8 so I installed classic shell so she should be more failure with it.

I have also removed any stock programs she didn't need and have hid IE because I can't stand it.

I have installed Firefox and added quite a few shortcuts for her already.

All I need to do oohs take it to her set her wireless printer up and make a final restore point unless yall have any other suggestions.

Lmao Chase, maybe took it too far on the point where u putted her in Child Mode and putted a pass on the DL, but if she needs it, she needs it..
But yeah, you could always get a virus protection and so, but otherwise I guess that is the safes you get lol

You may want to put CC cleaner on it. Also Windows defender wouldn't hurt. The free version of CC cleaner is good but for the best results get the paid version.

Pontus avast is a virus protection.

She is in child mode because the last few times I thought she could handle she proved otherwise.

I had a pw on dl's last time as well but I think my fiancee told her the pw.

With team viewer at least I can access her pc and monitor it.

I have spent over 16 hours working on her computer and I'm tired of it.

I'm feeling nice because last time I told my fiancee that the next time she can take it sister and spend Few hundred do maybe then she learns her lesson.

But next time had already came and I've been writing in it lol.
