All you're using the Liquid for is the CPU?

Liquid Cooling the GPUs would be more helpful.. they generate way more heat and the fans are generally far inferior.. =(

looks like my phone ate my last post...
anyways, the issues i had was the cooler not running the pump...upon getting the RMA'ed cooler had the same issue...after a bunch of research it looks like there was a bunch of air in the pump portion and due to the layout, it could not get to the radiator...giving everythign a good shake fixed it...took me about 3 hrs to figure out....and from the ton of forum posts I went through a lot of folks have this isuue

Aww I see. I had to RMA my first H80 because when I got it the cover over the button popped out I figured WTH that’s some shotty crap for the price but didn’t figure it would affect performance so I snapped it back into place and installed it. It ran fine for the first day but after that the light on the push button stopped working and I couldn’t tell where the fans were at and they wouldn’t change RPM with different settings. The tech support was pretty good I guess if you hold the button for 10 seconds it resets the pump but it didn’t help me so I sent it back. The RMA process is a PITA but either way about a month later I finally got a new one I'm pretty happy thus far.

If I do another build I want to work around the new Corsair link system if possible I think that would be a nice sophisticated build.

My phone does not seem to like the new forum software....let's see if this one posts...

Well, latest problem is the 1Tb drive...threw a smart error...argh and it had all the software installs...but since taking it out the BIOS posts much faster, but i'll have to reinstall everything from scratch as the registry etc is all messed up as its looking for programs etc on a drive that is gone... also unplugged the other hdds for now. Hope I get to see my dvd drives on the reinstall as they have disappeared earlier as well...never had this many issues...

Lessons learned...install Windows etc with bare minimum of hardware so you can trouble shoot easier...

I knew that, but so far always had everything working fine...and have built/upgraded plenty of systems over the last 20 years...

Anyways, running memtest now, ordered a hard sli bridge and hope to be up and running soon. (yep, besides for a few minutes yesterday, sli has not been working either...)[hr:1lpjebwk][/hr:1lpjebwk]
This build almost makes me wonder if this IS worth it...but heck at least I got the CPU for free... should have waited a few weeks and gone with snb-E...oh well...theoretically my mobo should take ivybridge. E has 2 of the 8 cores fused off anyways, so not really worth it anyways[hr:1lpjebwk][/hr:1lpjebwk]
