Well it is time for me to tell you all what I have been busy with for the last few days.... Wait for it.........My new RIG.

I also bought some Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste. So I know the CPU fan, RAM, and PSU are overkill but the PSU I got for a steal same with the RAM.

This is my first build and it took me a few hours to even get everything put in only because I had a 9 week old helper and he didn't enjoy it as much as if did but I must of done something right because it did fire up on the first time.

I am still waiting on the HDD its been stuck in NJ but should arrive on Monday (if UPS delivered on the 1st I would get it then)

Now performance its FAST (if you blink you would miss the boot screen) if can now play BO and BFBC2 on MAX settings with a great ping. The BO server if jumped in had a PING of 55 if was at 58. The index score is at 7.3 but that means nothing to me.

My computer desk should be here tomorrow and as soon as it is all up and together if will take some pics because ATM it is sitting on the floor.

I plan on OCing but if need to do some research before if start fooling around also want to get some before benchmarks as well so any PC monitoring tools you can suggest let me know.

My computer desk has been on a wal mart truck for over 30 hrs away when it was shipped from and hr and a half away uggh and the new HDD will be here mondau o hope im using one of my old ones for the time being.

first paragraph says it all...

That's quite possibly the most biased test I've ever seen. They tested a bunch of Intel chips (including some ridiculously old ones) and only mid-high range AMD chips, no hexacores.

Also, how did the 980x, the most powerful home computing chip out (NB: I do not consider server chips such as Xeons as home computing chips), score so low??

The 955 will max anything easily with that GPU, so there really is no need for waiting. It's a great chip and it overclocks extremely well

I'm not much for waiting and even if it would lower the price of other CPU's the holidays lowered the price of all the other components. I think if I ended up saving over 200 dollars just in discounts Newegg offered at the time.

wow looks pretty impressive to me, if you feel like trading just give me a ring lol, i like the case the best lol...guess im shallow when it comes to computers
