Chaser has no headset was created by [BBF]Chaser

Well 2 days ago i threw my headset on and only had sound in 1 ear phone so i knew i was SOL with them.

Today i put them back on and nothing no sound at all so i tried to hook them up to the back of the PC and nothing still.

Currentley the mic still works and i disassembled the little in line controller on the headset to see if a wire was short there and its not so i wont have ears for a while until i can convince the Fiancee i need another set or i can find something i can get to work around the house.

At least i have a mic and my moniter has speakers so if i have to ill have to go without ears.

Turtle beach X12.

I was thinking about splicing them and trying to hook it up without the controller but im going to guess the bad wires are int he headset its self and not feeding the headset.

I have tried to wiggle the cords to try and find where its going dead at and have had no luck.

my Turtle beach headset also died after a few weeks not very happy with them.

Turtle beach is hit and miss in terms of durability, throwing them however is not recommended. Chase if it's a primary PC headset and you've got 80-100 bucks Sibera V2s by Steel Series are lovely headsets, and same with Logitech G35 (I think that's the model)
