Neverwinter was created by [BBF] deSouza93

I have recently downloaded neverwinter, the new mmo produced by perfect world studios. It is in open beta and is f2p. If you like mmorpgs then this is pretty cool. It has that smooth feel like WoW but it is by no means a clone

It is nothing like WoW. Combat is much more fluid. You have to go into a encounter with a bit of strategy. In WoW you just hit buttons then wait for your cool downs to expire then hit more buttons.

When I said it was smooth like wow I meant in the way that it feels to play, it doesn't feel clunky like other mmo games the combat system is very nice indeed

currently downloading, thought this might be an expansion to D&D online at first but thankfully it's not!
-Worst download options of all time, Korcrafts first patch had better speed than this :P -

I liked the look and feel of the game. Only thing I don't like is the fact that it uses the D&D 4.0 rules set. I'm a old P & P gamer and thought 4.0 was way to dumbed down for D&D.

I got to level 10 the combat seems extremely rigid with a point and wait for the enemy to be dead style and while you wait your chained tot he ground basically(I like the option to stop an attack and dodge instead of waiting for it to end) The story seemed extremely forced, and there didn't seem to be any choice when it came to how to spend skill points, it gave me them each level but kept autospending them and then yelling at me to use the new skill it had put on my task bar instead of the one I'd been using before >.> although the skill's seemed to do the exact same damage at the exact same rate anyway and it was merely an animation choice <.<

What do you expect from the company that brought you Champions Online and Star Trek Online? Both of which went F2P pretty fast. Although when STO went F2P it was overhauled and the game was pretty damn fun after that.
