New map has been added to DayZ commander. It is wicked scary. First off it is cold. I spawned at night and was instantly shivering. Second there is a persistent wind that chills your soul. Third is a surprise that just makes the game extra creepy. You know that feeling you get when you see a player on a public server? Yeah, I had that for about 2hr last night. During the day it is less intimidating and probably very sniper prone. So far the map is fairly well laid out with enough military spawns to be easy to gear up, but not infantile like Fallujah. As I said it is very sniper friendly as a new high value military spawn was added. It is a 60ft spotting tower with outside stairs and little cover.

Im really digging the cold aspect with having to loot warm clothing to fight the cold, too... unique approach to survival that hasn't been done yet for Day Z- something a little more innovative than heatpacks and fires. And this appeals to my wannabe russian side.... Don't Be Beach... To bed, bath, and beyond! I need ******* woodwick!...

LOVING it so far. Havent enjoyed Day Z this much since day 1... Love food being scarce and the environment kicking my butt for a change... Way it should be. Could use some more tweaking and added things, but the core is great
