It would be nice to get the group back together. I miss playing with you guys.

It would be fun indeed but there is no game right now that I think will bring us all back. hopefully standalone releases sooner rather than later

Grinch, RPG, and myself have been playing DayZ+ the past couple of days and it has been pretty fun. Granted all the bugs and reasons we sometimes hate the game are still present, but the DayZ+ system is a bit better than regular Day Z... There are no AS50s or M107s and some other guns have been added... Theres a couple new AK models and some new sidearms (Skorpion for one). Weapons are harder to find, along with ammo. You can't gear up in 5 minutes right off the shore like you used to be able to with some luck on regular day z.

The past couple days I believe we have bagged at least 15-20 kills in total... last night we got 10 or more people until we finally got put down by a group of people working together in cherno.

The best kill was from ontop of the clock tower in cherno.. we spotted a guy in a gillie running through town solo... surprisingly he had the same idea as us, I guess... He climbed up to the top of the clock tower, not knowing we were there and we all let him up the moment he stepped foot up there... he was decked out with a M24 and a M4 CCO... we looted everything he had and used our newfound weaponry to go manhunting in elektro shortly after.... We watched a group of 3-4 survivors in elektro until they came up to the barn to the north... Grinch and I covered both doors of the barn while RPG got a sniper position overlooking the barn.... we sat there listening to them talk to each other in direct chat over voice... they had no idea what was about to come.... moments later 2 of the three inside the barn were down and the third was begging for his life in direct chat...

"What do I have to do for you to let me live?"

We tell him to walk out of the barn with his weapon lowered and to run straight to elektro and dont look back... he did just that and we let him live.

There were some scary moments, too.... like sitting on sniper hill and having a guy with a hatchet peak out from behind a tree looking at us from behind... I think Grinch pooped his pants, but not sure.

damn my work schedule! When I am off on Tuesday and Wednesday no body is online .

I think DayZ+ is fun enough for some deathmatching with the clan as a group.... I know RPG and myself have pretty well given up the idea of ever "stockpiling gear in a tent somewhere" playstyle... Its been more enjoyable just playing the best we can with whatever luck gives us. Not being afraid to die, but not trying to die either... Basically we play DayZ like hunger games... we try to loot better weapons to kill the other hostile survivors... and attempt to work alongside non-hostile survivors..

On one server we had a team of 6-8 people running around together... we had all been pushed around by bandits in elektro, so all the victims started a militia to steamroll all opposition... we made a trek to cherno and lost one along the way... then the server restarted and we never recovered.

We could have some fun times with a medium sized group of players in DayZ+... Having sheer numbers can be a big advantage in this mod... it would take some big balls for someone to engage a larger group that is armed.

Those two days are my worst nights for playing, too lol.... Im usually busy tuesday and wednesday nights... im usually doing training until 9-10pm pacific on wednesdays.

The key to DayZ is to just not care

ive been in the minecraft part of the clan for a while now and have started looking into other parts of the clan and saw this and i really like dayz and hopefully i can play with a couple of other clan members someday
