Zodiac brought this to our attention a bit ago and so RPG and myself checked it out for the first time last night and it was rather entertaining... Weapons seem to be as rare, if not rarer, than any of the other day z installments. Most of the kill/death messages we saw popping up were results of hatchets, makarovs, and enfields at gruesomely close range.. a few dmr kills were seen but hardly enough to make me feel concerned about overpowered survivors.

We got to see a few survivors flying around in a russian helicopter before crashing to the earth and the majority of them dying.... We also found a biplane but in my attempt to drive it to a gas station, i got it stuck on a tree trying to beat the server restart countdown of 2 minutes.

I believe we will be hopping back on again tonight (i plan to) and trying to find "salvation city" and getting some decent PvP in.... Ironically, RPG and I spawned in the 10% survival rated area (HIGH pvp zone) and I didn't run into a single person.... its my guess that most bandits/pvpers end up going with the "safe" spawns in order to prey on the weak minded.

We completely murdered everyone.

Doing so just produces bad karma. For instance, you get 4 murders and a bandit kill and then get shot in the head by your buddy.

Not much of a buddy. Unless he is charging you on a bicycle, then mow him down.

Those bicycles have been known to kill people!

I'd also be interested in some zombie combat will try and keep an eye on TS
