As many have said the price has steadily risen since alpha.

You also need to consider the conversion rate of money for example right now the game is going for 19.95 euros but thats 26.93 US dollars and 28.72 in Australia.

I think mine was around 18.00 US dollars or something like that.

I dont think Mojag thought this game would be as large as it is i mean look its running off of Java and the developers are some crazy Swedish guys that sit around and drink in the office.

I know i didnt think it would be such a great hit either.

My minecraft experience started in August of 2010 when my Friend Chris or as many of you used to know him monster6698 showed me minecraft. At first when he had shown me this i was this is stupid if i wanna play legos i'll just go get some out of the attic but after a few hours i got more enticed in the game and got quite addicted. At that time I'm not sure what version it was in, but about a month later i got my own copy of the game after borrowing Chris's's for a month and then a week or so into october my cousin was like hey mark wanna play multiplayer and at the point i hadn't really looked for servers i was fine by myself but i said sure why not and he had actually found bbf and gave me the ip and started playing. when i joined itchy was Gamecommander and there was paco,Hisgun,Fishman and DrDeath. As well as chase mike and many more. I still remember the first day i signed up on bbf and hoped into Teamspeak. it was so overwhelming it was Itchy Dr.Death Fishman Hisgun and Paco i was so scared i heard a bunch of grown men with there deep scary voices and 13 year old me was like (in Pres's voice) Hi guys. But that is my MineCraft experience.

Uncle Hisgun played all the time and kept pestering me to play as well... It took him a few months, but eventually I tried it out and fell in love.
