I kept thinking, "I wonder if Chaser means Six Flags." It's only about an hour drive from the city as opposed to the 3 hrs it takes to get to KC.

I'll make a mine cart track there

Lets see. If its 1825.9 miles form here to St. Louis, that's about 2,938,500 meters I have to travel.
Now considering that a Minecraft block is one meter, I would need 2,938,500 rails(of different types)to reach there.
Now, each batch of rails makes 16 rails, so I would need 1101938 iron ingots to make these rails. For the wood, I would need 183656.25 logs to make the planks, then the sticks needed. This would mean 45914 trees would need to be cut down to make all these rails.
