I remember running my website business and only needing Adobe Photoshop and notepad in order to build high quality websites.

I ran a 26-line BBS. Ironically I could still run it on a telnet basis.. but I used to have 26 external modems all hooked into a single computer (Pentium 90Mhz with 2GB of Ram and both a 300GB drive and a 1.35GB drive).

I was born mid 70's and remember when the "internet" was usually something for fishing LOL. The first ROM games back in the day were cartridges on consoles like ATARI and the NES was a break through. I remember having dual 5.25 Floppy drives was a high end computer, having a color CRT instead of a 4 color RGB CRT made you rich LOL. Internet access required an external dial up modem, the necessary 2 or 3 floppy disks and the correct phone number to dial into. We call it telnet now, but back then ... that WAS the internet. There was no Fiber or even copper cable DSL ... having a 28.8 Kbps external was cutting edge. You HAD to learn some pretty decent BASIC commands just to get past the POST screen and games? What games? A moving stick figure was AWESOME LOL. We don't need MORE tech .. we need to perfect the tech we have and learn to walk away once in a while. nowadays .. 1 good high powered EMP in the right place and society would dam near crumble. People have become way to dependant on tech to make their lives easier ... but that's a totally different thread =P

I was born September 11th 1995 (Yes my birthday has sucked major******** since 2001) But my first games where on super Nintendo and Nintendo 64, I'd play 007, ocarina of time, mario 64 and all the old mario games. My first computer game was Star siege Tribes(tribes 1). Now a days most kids are annoying and don't benefit in online games but back when i played that? I was the lil pro 5 year old woopin ass at the top of the boards. I played Unreal tournament 2003 and Tribes 2. I played the old ever quest and eventually unreal tournament 2004. Ut2004 was the shit. I played that game so much! it was like a major part of growing up. played a lot of other games but i cant mention them all lol.

I consider my self to be born on the border of between a technological revolution. I experienced some of the "old life" as in i played outside all the time. I even started with the dial up modem. I went from being one of the athletic kids to being the bright white, skinny, kid in high-school who doesn't leave his room. As mentioned before, my older brother introduced me to Tribes 1 and PC gaming in general. That has really shaped my entire life to this point.

Sorry for the rambled post, i kinda just rummaged through my memories lol.
