I wouldn't say the video game industry will CRASH per say. But I can certainly see a decline, especially in console games, but indie Devs, and big corps will still put out on PC, so I'm not too worried out it myself.

Yeah I found the article titled incorrectly as well. I just found it had a few decent angles such as the over bloated development budgets etc..that I haven't thought about before. It reminds me a lot of the industry in my area where 5 people could do a great job on a task but put 100 on it and watch the confusion begin
