Where has it come from?

I know i only been here 3months now but i have only just noticed that theres suddenly loads of people spamming forum with all this sales stuff.

Is there anyway to stop it and ban ip's from forum?

We have tried to stop them and have some stuff in place but all it does is slow them down. We move a lot of them to Deleted Topics and most people never even now they got posted. But some times they post when no admins are around and they are on the forum until we see them. I was checking until 4 am last night but had to get some sleep.

If you see spam **Do Not Post** it is harder for us to spot if people post in the thread.

Back when I actually spent time on the forums... i recall seeing a report button of some sort?
Anyways id just report the thread to Lawyer if i seen one.
And if im mistaken, can we all just take 5 minutes out of our day, to report the thread, or send a message to Lawyer or HisGun (thats who I usually go with) telling them about the spam and within 15 mins they should have it gone.

Yes as hisgun said if you see it please leave it alone a forum admin with move it were it needs to go. If you see one on please let one of us know so we can get rid of it.

i try to clear up those spam posts and put them into deleted topic when and where i have moderator rights its very annoying lol.

most higher ups dont have 23 out of 24 hours of the day to sit and stalk the forums (1 hour for bathroom breaks and to open mini fridge and box full of food) but we all do what we can :P
