What is your favorite book and why?





I will start: I would have to say I am a big fan of the dragon lance series (even though I have only read 1 book of it) and my favorite book would be in the war of souls trilogy , Dragons of a Fallen Sun. Right from the start it puts you in a storm that a bunch of troops are going through and there leader is killed by a lightning strike and the main character emerges and takes his place and leads these troops. Its a really good story and it kept my attention. I would definitely suggest you give this book a gander.

I don’t read but I love Stephen King "Dream Catcher" and "From a Buick 8" are amazing and "Carrie" is just downright wrong.


"Dream Catcher" the movie doesn’t compare to the book but like I said I really don’t read books it takes a lot for me to get into a book but Stephen King does it.

Well, I have alot of books I have and mean to get around to reading and have enjoyed biography's a lot in the past. But atm, my favorite book has got to be 1984 by George Orwell.

Raven's Point by Melinda Metz

Wll i like this book becaues it hase a dark plot. But what happens suprised mr. I like it mostly for the poatyr in it itsd very dark

I have to say the starcraft series in my opinion. the books even though written by all different people, they are vivid in detail and bring you into story. very awesome.

Oooh, books.

It's a toss up betweel Sabriel by Garth Nix and Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen.

Sabriel: I love me some fantasy and Sabriel is fantasy without being high fantasy (elves, orcs etc). It's about magic, necromancy being used for both good and bad, a mix of people who know that magic is real and people who don't know and a young woman has to become a necromancer in order to save her place of birth. Good writing, good plot, good setting.

Pride and Prejudice: I'm a huge Jane Austen fan and I love this book in particular because of how much I identify with the main character, Lizzie. She's smart, independent, witty, well-behaved (mostly) and yeah. I doubt many of you would be interested in such a book xD

Anything by spiritual/thrill writer Frank E. Peretti.

My two favorites are "This Present Darkness" and "Piercing The Darkness"

Though spiritual, these books are on par with Stephen Kings stuff, just a different turn on the thriller genre.
