Can't we host the TS server on the dedicated server?

In a word, no. We are running off of shared hosting currently which limits our ability on that end.

F1shman, what he is asking is why cant we run TS on the dedicated server i own for Minecraft.

This is actualey a very good idea i mean why spend $80.00 a month on a server that isn't being used to its full potential and still spend another $10.00 each month for our Teamspeak server?

I have already working with installing TS on my server however removed it after i was testing. It really isn't a hard thing to do the only hard thing would be trying to recreate all the channels, permissions, ranks and so on.

The other major thing would be to find a some sort of web control for TS so we can use it much like we already have in place.

?The final issue would be trying to find out how to run TS witha differant IP. I own 10 IP's however the server usualey sets everything using its IP so unless TS has a setting to run on such and such IP it will be difficult.

I have considerd this since the MC division and community is not sure of what to do next however i haven't came up with a game plan or said anything to the DC for discussion as of yet.

That was fast looks like 4 of us jumped in and answered the call. We are good for a few months now. It is $10.00 a month for our 25 person server. Light speed seems to do a good job on keeping us running and updated.

If you use our TS to talk with friends and you can help keep it going then IF you can it is the right thing to do to chip in a little now and then and not let it fall on the same people. It can be hard to do so I am only saying IF and when. It goes straight to Light Speed, not me not the clan... we don't party with your money, however should you chose to send me money to party on that would be cool... JK.

lol I'll chip in when duty calls next time! I only had $2 in my bank account and didn't want to make it look like im being cheap... even though i'm dirt poor till the end of the month.

When you can, we understands money is hard to come by.

I don't understand why we would pay to host a TS server when it can be put on the dedicated server and if people want to donate to it it can go to help pay for the dedicated server. Plus we can increase the number of people that can be on TS so that we don't have another LoL black out like we did a few weeks ago.

Says I can only donate a minimum of $10... I'm $8 short... :/
