This is for those of you who are either curious or want an explanation on why I probably don't sound 16 (I will be 17 in May).

So, as a few of you might already know, I struggle with a chronic disease called Ulceritive Colitis/Crohn's.

What that means is my stomach does not function properly and I deal with constant stomach pains.

So because my stomach is having problems I am unable to absorb nutrients correctly and the food that I do eat just "slides right through",I have to eat HUGE amounts of protein just to get by.

About three years ago we had no clue that I was having issues and so I slowly lost weight.
Maybe a year later we realized something was wrong when I stopped wanting to eat and I was a 14 year old who weighed only 63 LB.

So to make an incredibly long story short, because I was malnourished my body stopped growing and stopped doing the things it was supposed to do.

So as the doctors say, my body is pretty much a 13 year old, my voice,hight,weight and even puberty (or lack there of) is all the same as a 13 year old.

Thankfully I am improving. I now weigh 84 LB and, at the shock of the doctors, I am starting to grow.

So after all of that, I would like everyone to still treat me like everyone else, just understand that I am struggling with certain things and as much as I would love to change it, I can't.

I appreciate this community of people who just want to play games and don't try to worry about anything but having fun with others.

sad story. but we accept everyone. if anyone gives you trouble about that tell the RC or anyone that will help.

Glad yall have found the issue and now you can work around your diagnosis and live a much better and happier life.

I know quite a few of us are fighting our own demons.

I myself also go by crazyeyeschase because i have a condition called Nystagmus which makes m eyes move horizontally uncontrollably. I was born legally blind and after years and years of working hard training my eyes and doing therapy i can now see, drive and do other things "normal" people can, however my hand eye coordination still sucks.

I got into video gaming because aside from track, cross country and even football to some extent i had a hard time playing sports. I didnt care for TV much because when i did watch TV i would need to sit extremley close even with corrected vision. Whe i play the PS# i sit within 5 feet of the TV if not closer. PC gaming allowed me to sit close while still being able to see everything and i felt "Normal".

Over the years i have learned to grow with my ailments and no longer care what others say. Still sucks not being able to read fast food menus from the back of the line.

All members of the clan should be treating everyone with respect no matter if they are a 13 year old or a 17 years old respect should not be based on age or what a person sounds like. I hope you did not feel like you were treated less for the way you sound.

BBF members give respect to everyone it is our friendship that is earned and it sounds like you have made a few friends here and we are happy to have you with or without your health issues.

I did not feel like I was being treated differently or meanly, just that some did not understand why I sounded younger then I claimed I was. So this post was just an easier way of explaining it
