Keep trying to open up he game and it wont open? any suggestions?

Heres what I tried:

closing steam and reopening.
Turning computer off and then back on.
trying to use the force.
asking it nicely to load up.

What is it doing when u r trying to get it loaded does it just close or give u an error and what OS r u on atm it seems mac is having some troubles from what ive read on their forums

It won't let me play unless i join someone in game. and at that I have to close and open the game a few times for it to work. I'm on mac 10.10.3

Yah since its mac im not rly sure how u would go about fixing that since online it does say that some mac users r having problems

Sorry to barge into the conversation but, figured I could possibly help you resolve this issue if you haven't already. If encountering crashes/issues/errors (due to possible corrupt or missing files etc.), the first step in troubleshooting should be verify your game cache. Steam will then begin scanning your files for (corrupt or missing files etc.) and resolve any issues it locates by repairing/downloading the corrupt files.

Fair warning: Do not attempt to uninstall and reinstall to attempt top solve your crash issue as it is not necessary and the error would likely occur again. I'm sure you already knew this but, figured I'd rther be safe by warning you, otherwise you'll waste a lot of time and may end up in the same situation anyways.

This is a normal occurrence when downloading large game files and can manifest later on, even if the game had worked previously. Once verified, if this was your issue, it should now be resolved and ready to play within minutes. There are occasions that this doesn't resolve them for varying reasons. In the event that it doesn't correct the issue, If you're still running into trouble and had previously attempted this without luck, let me know and I'll try to help you get it up and running again as soon as possible.



How do you verify the integrity of a game cache? (Just in case you're weren't sure)


Go to your game library details view.

Right click on 7D2D in your library.

Select Properties.

Select the local files tab.

Select Verify Integrity of Game Cache.


Steam will then begin the process of correcting any issues it locates if any are found.
