Full Tilt, Poker Stars, and Absolute Poker among with several other gambling websites were shut down within the U.S. Poker Stars and Full Tilt fund over 90% of all poker TV programming. Programming on ESPN and many major outlets late at night, programming that's now been canceled (no more funding).

This year the Department of Justice finally decided to enforce a 4 year old anti-gambling bill against these poker sites. Arresting site executives for breaking the law and fraud. The fraud part comes from these sites doing business with foreign banks "to get around the law". These sites contest that the Ant-Gambling bill is more for Player vs the House, not player vs player and that Texas Hold'em is more skilled based and less luck based.

I have 30 bucks frozen in my full tilt account which isnt a big deal. It should be interesting what comes out of this inside the courts and outside the courts. Does this blackout effect anyone else?
