I will get a video card at some point and was looking for a good priced, decent card. This one seems to be a decent price for the card. Not top of the line, or even the latest series, but seems to be quite good for the price:

I'm thinking that will probably at least work decent for BF3.

Anyone have that card?

And i love it. The 5850 has more steam processing units but the 6850 has a higher core clock. Either way i think it will work fine for you. I can run BFBC2, BO, and all the games i have now maxed out.

The 5830 from XFX is also a very nice card and a tad cheaper if you are looking to spend a little less.

I have that card 5850 and I have been very happy with it. I am not an expert.

It has never crashed. I have only played COD4 (and lots of it

) BO, and Left for Dead 2. I got 200 to 300 fps on COD4 and 80 to 120 fps on BO (at highest resolutions, Full res, I figure if I don't like the game that much, it better at least look good). It is not overly noisy and vents ouside the case. Good fan controls. It is VERY long so make sure you have room. I think the 6850 and 5850 are great bang for the buck and if you cross fire, it should rock.

I want to crossfire and will try for BC3 i the fall but life is coming at me to fast right now and lots of home expenses to spend any more $.
