It is time for me to take time off from my 3 day a week job and go on "Vacation" to the Farm (a cool place we bought 2 years ago and are fixing up).
Last year on my "Vacation" at the farm I:
Put in 8 concrete footings under the living room.
Put in 3 very large wood posts, like 10x10x 15 ft in the barn
Put a 16 ft metal beem in the living room ceiling
Put in a sump pump under the house
Dug a trinch 25 ft and put in pipe so it would drain away from the house
Painted the whole house (wife helped)
Put up corrugated on the roof of the Wraparound porch.
Mowed yard (over an acer) about 6 times (no riding mower yet)
Killed a few Mohols
Dug a few post holes and fixed fince (got 100 more posts for this "Vacation"
Dug up about 400 Tansy plants (a bad plat that hurts wild life and cows)
Put in a new Toilet
Sheetrocked and painted one of the bath rooms
Ran some power lines
Put in a new Chimney liner

There was more but that was last years "Vacation" so I am sure I am forgetting a lot of stuff. This year should be a lot more of the same, starting with the kitchen walls and floor then a whole new kitchen... Ya got to love Vacations:D

I will check in every few weekends at my house in the city, the farm has no internet Your GC's/RC's or Paco can help if you need anything ). I will miss this place until I can get back on. Vacation is over in mid Sept.

hey good luck once again if it was any closer i would pack up my tools and shovels and come help but its not lol

He just sat back and wrote a check foir each and every thing he listed. I know him and he has been wroking a table he started about the 1st of the year and he still has not put the doors on it.
