It's been over a year and a half since I first came across the COD4 1.0 BBF server and started playing with DeathAdder, Kudos, Shizzy, Bandit and a lot more that are no longer here BBF has been a hallowed place for me in that time and has allowed me to help out in several supported games like being an MP on COD4, GC of BF:BC2 and helping Paco beta test (also called a Guinea Pig LOL) on our Minecraft servers.

Nowadays, it has just become more of a set of individual groups instead of a community feeling. Not anyone's fault, it just happens, both in life and gaming alike. Part of that is my own fault because I don't play what others are playing, but like BBF and my own personality, diversity is just part of individuality

Over my time as a proud BBF member, I have come to make some true friends through our servers and teamspeak. Both clan mates and random pubbers alike. Some have joined us since I came here, some have left and some have only had brief visits. Among this list of memorable's are including but not limited to the following:

Paco - What can I say? This poor man SOLD his gaming rigs and played Minecraft with us on an antique LOL. Now if that's not clan dedication, I don't know what is

PUMA/// - My old boss as RC when I was a GC. Always helpful, guiding, understanding and a TON of laffs since I been playin BC2 with him when we both managed to log in.

Musskill, DeathAdder and KittehBlack - Now HERE is our Kiwi connection. 3 of my closest and dearest friends from back when I started in COD4 and even up to and including BC2 Mussy, I still want more of your tags

Itchy - One of the golden oldies ! Nothing like talking and chatting to a member first hand who can honestly say "Back when we played Battlefield 1942 ...." LOL This man has a lot to offer if you just take the time to be respectful and listen

tryingnot - my "mentor" if you will when I started playing BC2 and eventually became an officer for me when I was GC for BC2. What can I say amigo ? ... many, many, MANY evenings spent in TS venting to one another ... about life and gaming alike. Wouldn't trade a minute of it either

All in all ... this has been HOME to me for some time and BBF has made me welcome from [R] all the way through GC and back again. It just doesn't feel the same anymore since everyone has left our walls. I have stayed since most of my friends left for XD and A|Nz and have tried my best to play other games and get to know the newer members, but to no avail. So with a heavy heart, I do by hereby officially resign from BBF and will be trying on a new set of tags possibly in the near future with my real life college buddy MMACK75 in Topcats. I do hope I can keep my member privileges on teamspeak so I can still come and play games with everyone and you can bet money I will be chatting to them about scrims with BBF in the future

The feeling of "missing" you wil be as mutual for me as it is for Chaser - though we have only spoken on a few occasions. The few conversations we've had we definately intellectually charged and your personality is simply electric. We only played one game, BFBC2 - and you owned me, of course .

It has been a good run Tony it is unfortunate that you feel like it is a seperate bunch of small communities. But I wish you well bro good game with your new clan and good luck with the woman.

I get what you mean about the change. I'm happy to make new friends (and stay with my darling brother) but I don't blame you at all for seeking more familiar pastures. Have fun and come back if you get lonely *super hug mega hugs*

This is something that happens over and over in larger clans. It's because particular games come out and are played by a certain number of members, but not all members.

There should be no issue with this, and all games should welcome all members of the clan (otherwise we need to be reporting issues and removing members), but the main thing is we don't want to start cliques who won't accept others or who treat others as outcasts.

We all are responsible for making BBF one community of gamers.


I don't think you've had enough time to put in recently Longshot, as right now we're inbetween games. BF3, MW2, Tribes, Minecraft 1.8, etc. are all set to come out this fall.

You will be missed man, but keep in touch. Sometimes it's good to get out there and game with 'real life' friends, so enjoy gaming with your college friends.
