If you prestiged already it'll count, you don't need to prestige again. Also, according to community.callofduty.com/thread/100565092 <--- that post, they "have no way to track previous games on PC", so... it may not even matter.

Yeah, at least for MW2 and Black Ops.... they could have just worded the post badly, but I would not put it past them to do this kind of laziness.
