I just got today on Xbox 360 and so far im loving it.

There are still a few glitches i've found that i hope are patched soon though.

It's a blast on PC. I had to get this one on PC because it was made for PC again, instead of a port from console.

I'm not the best at it, but once I get some more practice in I'm sure my KDR will go up some. Need those weapons unlocked.

yeah this is my first Battlefield experience of any kind... and i will admit it is starting to grow on me a little...KDR is around .85 so im happy with that!

Yeah, it's a great game so far, also need those unlocks!

I like BF3, but I've been trying really hard to get into Conquest and I just can't do it. That's all I've played the last week. I'm trying to force myself to enjoy it and I just can't.

It looks like I'm going to stick with Rush mainly for my entertainment and partially some TDM games, but not very often.

I agree with Dr. over here, I bought this on PS3 the other night and played it for eight hours straight on campaign and multiplayer. It's just a Deathmatch kind of game, and I just don't enjoy it at all.

People are way too easy to kill and if you're a low level in the game, the helicopters and jets you'll never be able to take down. I think it's fine if you're just a regular FPS, but to introduce this as a new type of game play, it just isn't.

It feels exactly like the same game I played as Bad Company and Battle 1942.

Conquest is fun when you get some squads who are working together. It's a game of teamwork more than KDR, or at least can be....


Show up for some of the BF3 PC practices once we get a few in and squads going, then you'll see what conquest is all about.



Rush is fun too. I played a lot of rush on BFBC2. I wouldn't mind playing it in BF3 some as well.

Thoughts on BF3, strap in for another edition of a post no one will read because it's just to long

BF3 is a perfect example of how a game should act, feel and perform as a sequel to a hit selling game. BF2 was by far the best experience I have ever had in an FPS. The game looks beautiful, runs smooth (PC to PC basis of course) and the gameplay mechanics are definitely an improvement. The addition of a greater range of customization, at least from BF2 to BF3 is greatly expanded on and dry enjoyable. While its not as nice as the simple system they had for BC2 it is an improvement that forces players to acquint themselves with new weapons in order to get better and get unlocks with those guns.

Game mode wise I'm enjoying conquest as I always have, rush is good and the addition of later rush games 32-64 really picks up the pace and makes it enjoyable for someone like me who is go go go. Team deathwatch for me is up in the air, while I enjoy the premise, and the frags, it seems like a COD player shoot off to appease persons who can't quite grasps the teamwork aspect of BF.

My only major gripes will of course be with delivery, and launch glitches, their were a number of issues I encountered at launch and still have, mostly with origin, the game crashing during map changes or not loading at all. Also the incorporation of the browser as the primary launch platform for PC. So far it's fast and work alright, however I've never been a fan of relying on a browser for a game, it's actually what turned me off of CA.

All in all BF3 is worth the buy, the play, and the time, and I'll be enjoying it quite fully right up until SW:TOR launches lol :P and maybe some more beyond that
