yeah, I would agree, a 240 isn't worth it unless you are really tight on money. I have 260M in my latop and love it, but BFBC needs tor un in low detail settings for multiplayer (I can play high in single player with the occasional stutter)....
from the anandtech review I posted on the previous page, the 460s non-OC cards have a FULL SYSTEM power draw in the 300W range for crysis, which "should" be ok with your PS. Also note that they have 6GB RAM, so your 2GB shoudl pull a bit less. there test system specs are on this page:

unless your CPU pulls a lot more power than the review CPU or, your PS is underspecc'ed you - should- be ok (don't burn DVDs while playing games...). or throw in another 50 bucks and get a new PS. not sure though if you can swap it easily of if HP uses some proprietary dimensions....
here is one with with good reviews (I don't know this brand, but 5 eggs on 50 reviews is pretty sweet)

35 bucks and free shipping, good reviews, can't beat that. - read the reviews before you buy though and check if it will fit your case.
you will be much happier with this than a 240, even if you need to spend.
if you want to cheap, get hsi one - $144 -

if you want a better one get one of the EVGA 1G 460s. with the PS above you should be able to get any OC or non-OC.
you can find a 768M 460 in the ~160 range if you watch newegg for deals. yes, it's about 2x the 240, but I bet ya it will bring you more joy than even a 240 SLI system. but the power draw is a risk. see also this link - post 8 is interesting (I have 8800GTS in my desktop, seems about equivalent to the 260M in the laptop, but I run the desktop at a slightly higher resolution - 1920x1200 vs 1600x900 (?) on the lappy.
anyways, if money is super tight, get the 240, but you will run into the same problems a few months form now. spend 200-250 and get somethign that rocks and have fun (of course you'll need to upgrade that CPU one of these days)
