Yes "chain of command" is something we need to make sure all members are aware of. I have some members come to me with issues and the first thing I ask is "have you talked with your GC about this?"

I find it funny when members say they won't be heard. You don't have to have been here 10years, I ask where have you been the last 10 years because we heard nothing from him. Have to speak to be heard and I can only think of two issues I've tried to block from further discussion in the last few years in open forums. One was right after we already had to deal with a bunch of swearing discussion.

Leaders are careful to not lock threads and very open to discussion.

Usually we find that most members just want to play games and not take on more responsibility such as helping with the clan duties, charter, meetings to discuss issues etc

We are always looking for members to step up and help. You don't know how hard it is to find volunteers to help lead the clan.

Speak up if you want to be heard but talk to Hisgun first before considering changing the swearing rule. Many of us who have discussed it multiple times and dealt with issues when we allowed or disallowed would rather not want to go through it all again.
