I am posting these results to show what people can gain from what they already have by overclocking. These are not official results. These are my benchmarking results.

GPU: Core 772mhz Normal ---> 970mhz ( 26 % Overclock )

Cool, you did gain some FPS there. That bit of extra FPS can help get more kills.

For those who want that bit of extra FPS or 'bang for the buck', Sleepwalker is the guy to talk to.

I just buy a system that will be fast enough to not have to mess with overclocking. I've done a bit of overclocking, but nothing 'hardcore'. Just minor adjustments.

I overclocked my current CPU. I couldn't get it above 4.0 ghz tho without risking overheating. It's probably the CPU cooler I'm using. It had good reviews but it didn't perform as good as I had hoped.

What kind of IT guy can't OC? lol jk Some of us are just better at different types of Tech stuff :P

The Skax beast machine needs no OC. That thing is just sick. When the time comes, if and when he wants I'll OC it... I also know ways besides OC'ing your Gcard, memory and CPU to get better in game results and yes, more FPS

BTW, that old screaming single core system I did for Skax rendered over 1000 fps in Unreal XMP (UT2k4) and posted that screenshot years ago. I'll never forget how everyone reacted to me when I was the very first BBF to go SLI

Yeah we need to do mine sleep but I am almost at the point of getting the SSD then I think I will go for it.

Doesn't OC void warranties (NIVIDA) though?

warranties still good.

i have EVGA card and they cover pretty much they cover everything
as long as you don't mess with the Bios of the GPU
