What is every-ones favorite movie? My favorite movie is Saving Private Ryan because I love Tom Hanks, and I also enjoy action/war movies.

Here is a little segment of it (warning before watching, it is a war movie, so people will be getting shot)

It's not a war movie, but Gangs of New York is one of my favorite historical films of all times. Dark tone, great setting, amazing characters and equally solid actors.

I dare you to find someone as devoted to a role as Daniel Day Lewis(Played the villain of the film). Man got sick with pneumonia during filming and he wouldn't receive treatment out of fear he'd break character. Took some time before they eventually persuaded him to get treatment. I got nothing but respect for someone who can stay that committed to a role. And he's a good actor to boot.

Fight Club is without a doubt my favorite movie of all time...but Gangs of New York is also one of my faves.
