I need help, and I was wondering if anybody was a apple guru here.

I just lost my iTouch 4th generation, and I went to go check iCloud to use the GPS feature to locate it, but it is not near a internet source. I am worried that somebody might steal it.

So my question is this: If somebody puts the iTouch into DFU mode, will it still be able to be trackable via iCloud online if it connects to a internet source after it gets factory reset?

I am not sure but I believe not because it would be factory reset so it is like a new IPod but if they just unlock it without restoring you can track it. Not 100% but that's what I think
