Subwoofer Problem

Subwoofer Problem was created by [BBF]Vyndorn

I think I have a small hole in my subwoofers cone. Every now and then, or if it is a bass "intensive" song, the subwoofer makes a popping sound.

I know for sure it is not a voltage problem. But if there is a hole in the cone, any way to fix it?

its popping. i talked to a person who is good at stereo stuff, he said use a special tape which he has to cover the back and front of the hole if there is one

You can patch it but it'll never sound the same.

Like shahal said it's not really worth patching them they will never sound the same.

Is this a PC or car woofer?

Use fingernail polish if you have a small hole or tear. Just make sure not to use it till the polish is dry.
