Gaming Writers was created by TRIBUSH

Would anyone within the clan be interested in providing 2-5 articles of around 500 words with good quality on the topic of gaming to me weekly?

I'm going to be booting up a little site, as soon as my paypal transfers go through that is going to be centered on the atmosphere of gaming. Basically, you will be getting to write about your favorite topics, genre of gaming, reviews, etc...

If you're interested, either send me a PM on the forums, or give me a shout out in a reply. I'll provide you with more information if you decide that you're at least interested... I'll also be looking for youtube video creators who wouldn't mind working under my brand name...

Let me know guys, this could be a fun and long lasting project...

Thanks

Yeah but that gives me one subject to write an article on.. and without going through serious re-hashing.. it's not overly repeatable... and probably very similar to one that's already been written a million times over =)

Not really, since a lot of the problems and troubles you face daily are so common to you that you don't find them interesting anymore, other people would. This is what being a journalist is all about, assume that everyone knows nothing. :D

I've read many of the articles myself though.. both before I was in the industry and since. There's something enjoyable about being one of those quiet "faces behind the curtain" folks - you'll see my name in credits in games and stuff, it's a rather nondescript position and certainly not someone that shows up on interviews or panels. =)

I definitely have no problems writing things in the BBF Private Forum, nor talking about it on BBF's TS.. but I generally leave longer posts out of the public eye to prevent saying anything that might get anyone cranky at myself or the companies I would potentially represent.

Coincidentally, this was EXTREMELY difficult during the troubles that 38 Studios experienced.. =/

Interesting proposition. I'd love a chance to rant about games hehe.

Yeah, people tend to generally get butthurt over things that they don't like hearing, which is childish, tbh. We're all grown men and women mostly, why do some have to get pissed at about something that someone said in a news article or over the internet, I've never understood this. Does the PR fluff actually help people feel assured, that their precious little bubble of nice and happy things is not gonna burst anytime soon? It's like people don't want to face reality. Same thing with Jay Wilson. He definitely meant what he said and I'm sure he even means it now, yet he still had to apologize. People are just looking at ways to get offended, not the other way around.

The whole fiasco with 38 Studios was a real show of "how low can you go". I'm glad that most people there got new jobs and that the community helped the employees get back on their feet. On a closely related note, Kingdoms of Amalur was a pretty fun game to play. :D
