Well for anyone who lives in Ontario and wasn't there. You should have been, go tomorrow, or next year. Secondly, if anyone from BBF was there, 0.o. Thirdly, this year was AMAZING, I've been going for the past 3 years, and for those of you who don't know (As in 99% of you) it's a HUGE expo held in two of the cities biggest buildings (The north and south Toronto Metro Centre buildings for you Canadians) you can check out more info here: Fan Expo Website but I'll summerize. It's a convention for fans of: Gaming (me), Anime (me), Sci-Fi (me), Horror, and Comics(Kinda me?). They bring in Celebrities for panels/autographs/photo-ops, as well as hundreds of vendors that sell Merch, and artists that sell prints/originals/take requests etc etc. You can find everything from giant wall scrolls, to posters, to anime mouse pads of girls, and you really need wrist support conveniantly at the chest location of said anime girl, real swords, action figures, collectables, you name it. For the past 2 years I'd go for one day, hit what I could and go home (with no job so little cash) but this year I had real money, and went for 2 days spent a night in a hotel with friends. Here's some of my favourite loot. It would be like 4 posts long if I showed off all my posters but I took pictures of my favourites.
This here is Moxxi from Borderlands for those who don't know. This is certainly my favourite poster I bought, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Borderlands.

For all you LoZ Fans I did buy an Ocarina in the style of Links from Ocarina of Time, it is plastic, plays okay (I have previous history on the flute) so the blowing (HAHA) is something I'm kind of used to, but the breath control is much more like a woodwind instrument. I might buy a ceramic replica of Links cause it's fun (and cool in a nerdy way to tell your friends you can play it!) The song book under it is LoZ: OoT songs. :3

The Next Poster (which I also have to post in the LoL Thread about is in my opinion BEAUTIFUL for any LoL Fans, what can I say, it's Kayle without her helmet, magestic print.

My favourite pick of Fan Expo 2012 though has to be..... *Drum Roll* For all you Bleach Anime/Manga fans you all know (AND I HOPE LOVE) Mr. Kisuke Urahara, known for his quirky weirdness, and his semi-mysterious sword, only known in Shikai as Benihime, the ex Captain of the 12th, and 2nd of the Thirteen Court Gaurd Squads commands a powerful and tempermantle Red Princess, but I must say I love the sword so much, I had to buy a replica. A real sharp, steel, down to the engravings at the lower of the blade replica, and a stand for her to sit on. So here's my new prized possession of the Expo.
Sheathed

Fan Expo 2012 was a hit, and I'm going back for 2 or more days next year. PS Everything I bought (Must be like 10 Posters, a FF10 Art book for my mom, AC/DC's Back In Black on Vinyl for my dad, a real sword, a knife, 2 cups, an ocarina, pocket watch, sword, and some TCGs) Only cost be around 550 dollars or so. I encourage anyone in Ontario or even near the border to come by and check it out next year. Great event, highlight of my year. I did have a guild wars 2 mouse pad, off the first truck shipped into Canada... BUT
Before leaving the hotel someone smashed our cars windows and stole my laptop :@

and my friends families (I was with my good buddy and his parents cause they went to see Bruce Springsteen) clothes/Jewls. But with any luck the hotel or insurance will replace my lost laptop, new luggage bag, and my deoderant

and my new GW2 Mouse Pad, one of the first 100 sold in Canada

Poop. Still wouldn't trade it for the world.

If there are any Full Metal Alchemist fans out there, I picked up a working pocket watch replica of Ed's right down to the engraved inside.
