alright have to say the new site looks amazing, i love the colors i love the menu, everything, big congrats to the guys upstairs for this one. I've seen a lot of sites for BBF and alot of different skins, this is by far the best, and such a smooth and clean transfer of profiles from myBB to vBulletin, i am really impressed.

I had the honor of working with a great designer on this project. Without Spencer's assistance we would not have the level of quality that you see. It was a fantastic experience to work with Spencer and I will certainly be following up with him in the future for any other major revisions that are necessary in the future. I also tip my hat to [BBF]SM1LE5 who is working on some custom insignias for us. [BBF]hisgun was a big help on the project as he and I worked together to apply custom permissions to roughly 200 individual forum accounts. [BBF]Crimson Ghost and the rest of the DC submitted feedback on the original site design as well as the revisions that came afterward to identify areas that might need improvement. [BBF] Itchy went above and beyond testing things before the release by finding my typos and ensuring links throughout the site were operational. [BBF]Dr Death was there to help calm my nerves when I was getting stressed, and managed to get in touch with DK for me when we really needed to. Lastly, Paco and [BBF]DarkKnight both helped to get things set up on the server.

As you can see, there was quite a team on this project and the clan benefited from each of their contributions. My thanks goes out to every one of them personally for a job well done.

What is the deal with not being able to post? It says that all my posts have to be approved by a moderator.

I wasn't aware you were going live with it already f1shman. The Google rank is going down so we should get the sitemap updated. vBulletin should also have some more SEO options for more friendly URL's, but it does appear to be putting a description at least.

If you want I can update the Google Webmaster account, or if you create one I can update the DNS to transfer it over.

Looks great so far! I'm glad someone put the money up for vBulletin. That's what I had wanted to do, but it's not cheap. So, you should thank whoever pitched in!

I clicked around a bit and noticed a few things to clean up:

- Charter links invalid
- Gallery menu drops down when selected
- Legion of Merit on awards page graphic can be cleaned up

Fishman is modest about all the hard work he put in and I am sure the cost. Thanks for the compliment coming from a guy who knows all the hard work Fishman had to do is high praise. Hope you are doing well.

Hey Pahko! Thanks for forwarding those issues to me I will try to clear them all shortly. I managed to add myself to the google webmaster account but I will have to find a few hours to take it all in. I did throw an updated link to the sitemap out for the robots just now. I'll keep an eye on it to make sure that fixes the issue.

Good. Now hopefully Google can crawl the site and start indexing the new site. There are a few features in the webmaster tools, and some interesting stats.

You might read up on how Google likes webmasters to inform them of major changes. If you used the same friendly URL format the old links to old forum posts would have still been valid, but there should be a way to tell Google to re-index and not serve up old invalid pages in search results.

We also had Google Analytics set up. It's interesting watching what posts bring the most traffic and can help you get a good overview of your site. Often, tutorial type of posts for a new game bring a lot of traffic.

Searching for BBF climbed up the the first page in Google search results when we started having Google index the site, and eventually was right up near the top. It looks like that dropped down some, but it should come back up.

Not that it matters a bunch, but some potential recruits will search for "BBF" to find the website.

Yeah searching for BBF now it appears on the third page on the results. But like paco said, I am sure it will start crawling back up when google begins to index it properly.
