I might go and tick or treat for the last time.... for old time sake.

Two years ago was my last year, when I was 16, I will be working, my part time job at a Post Office, which will most certainly be dead, everyone will be at home or trick or treating while I'm stuck 4-9 PM scanning mail and selling stamps to old people. Whoooooop!

Yeah those Old people creep me out man....
I have fixed up my house. So I will be home handing out candy and dropping a spider on people...
this year I made a new black iron looking 6 foot fence and put it up around the front yard every 6 feet of fence has a wider 7 foot post with a skull on top.

There are the normal tomb stones (nice ones from Spirit Halloween store) I ran some buttons to the outside of the fence so the little kiddies can push them and make things do stuff like a talking pumpkin that opens its lighted eyes and moves its mouths and says things like “Boo did I scare you?” one tomb stone rock back and forth and another one sings a spooky song with the face on the front of its and the mouth moves like its singing. There is a Bat that flies (red LED eyes and flaps its wings) in a 8 to 10 foot cercal above the cemetery, spiders, Rats form 6” to 18” tall, zombie heads and bodies coming out of the ground.

A half statue (life size) of the angle of death with the wings and hooded skeleton face. It looks like gray marble and I put it on a pedestal in the back of the cemetery with a red spot light lighting up just its face..
I put some purple rope lights along the bottom of the fence and some more purple lights along the upper part of the fence. The walkway up to the front door has a dead body on the ground off to the right that jumps up and screams on its own. Above him in the tree is a wisecracking skeleton who says things with a Brooklyn accent, like “Hey, were you going-- nice costume” Hey, can I have a drink of water please”..
Then just past them is a wind chime of skulls that lights up with bright blue LEDS and starts shaking.
Then just past that is a 15” Bat hanging down that starts swinging back and forth making growling with load jungle sounds. Past that is a 6.6” tall hooded skeleton holding a skull in one hand, the skull starts rocking around in his hand and he kind of just fades out and on because he has lights in his head and hands.
To keep people form walking around the side of my house I put up a arch (ply wood but painted to look like stone and with the same black painted “bars” as the cemetery fence. On the other side of this arch and looking out at people through the bars is a white haired, white faced Banshee. She has a black hood on and her body is draped in gray hanging cheese cloth, her hands are also white but with red finger nails. Her eyes are a deep almost purple red as are her pointed teeth and open mouth, like she is screaming, I had to put a light purple spot light on her face to it glows in the dark area of the walk way…she is sweet.

I put some cool looking lights around the real arch that you walk under as you enter my porch and also around that fake arch with the Banshee. These are purple mini lights but the have this pointy twisted finger sized rubber stuff over each bulb. Anyway as you walk up to the steps of the real arch to the front porch, hanging on the left is the head of the “crept keeper” hanging in a black open sided box form a chain. On the right is a gothic looking “Flaming” lantern (looks like fire). Then the ghost starts dropping down form above the inside of the arch. This thing is cool too, it has a 3 foot long control tub with several bright blue LED lights that come on as the head and hands begin to lower on there own lines so the hand go down the head goes up then the hand move up and the head goes lower all while make a deep spooky moaning, after going down about 4 feet it re-tracks back up over the inside of the arch…

As you walk up and look above the ach setting up there were you have to walk under is a life size dude with a skeleton face holding a large two sided axe in one hand and an noose in the other. Once on the porch there is a severed head that comes down as the door is opened (I added a foot peddle to activate the shaking of the head and the chain that hangs from it).

There is a arched window on one wall of the porch so I put a witch looking in, I gave her some life by putting a “Oscillating Fan” motor in her head… she looks like she is looking back and forth at the kids… There is also a black light, some sleeping (bats that have been rolled up) bats and a few that look like they are flying. Spiders and spider web and a few glowing bugs. There is a skeleton head that hangs on the door but his talking drives me nuts so I took out his batteries. There is more and I am not done yet. I need to go to bed and anyway I talk to much…

You're a halloween kinda guy eh? At about this time of year my dad finally takes the Christmas lights down, and that's as halloween-y as my family gets... Besides giving out candy of course.
