You have three very quick and painless options.

www.stardock.com/products/start8/

This one is your best option. It looks the most like Windows 7 start menu, but the downside is you'll have to pay for it. $5. If you're up for that, then this is your baby.

www.startbutton8.com/index.html

This is your second option. It is completely free and the start button itself looks completely neat with easy to customize Windows Icons. The functionality works, but it lacks the flair that stardock's Start8 has.

www.pokki.com/

Since I'm cheap, this is the option I'm going with. It doesn't look as nice as startbutton8 and especially start8, but the functionality is fantastic. The thing with Pokki is that it allows some pretty neat apps. More specifically you can have an app on your toolbar for Pandora and Plants vs Zombies and a ton of other things you can find in their app store. It's also great for Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest users if you're into that.
