Zombies would be ideal. I don't think I can handle the world slowly crumbling at my feet or a giant tsunami.
I would rather the ones from the walking dead as compared to the resident evil "infected" type.

Omfg, I hate hearing about "zombie apocolypse." We are closer to Terminator than anything else. We are making partially independent strike bombers for the military and we have Siri (a rather smart AI) on our iPhones.

Btw, IF the zombie apocolypse happens? All you need are a few necrophiliacs to scare off the zombies

I agree with Reaver. The whole "zombie" thing is kinda dumb. Realistically everybody would be crapping their pants about it, that is if it is even scientifically possible (a zombie with hollywood like features).

It is proven by science. Every few billion years both the north and the south poles shift, it has happened before, only a long, long time ago. When these poles shift it causes all the tectonic plates on our planet to also shift. Movement of the tectonic plates of course causes rupture and unbalance in the planet core and throughout the entire earth, therefore causing natural disaster. I.e, earthquakes, cyclones, floods, vulcanic rupture, etc. Because of hundreds of thousands of years of humanity building and digging and experimenting and all the bad things that humanity has caused or done. The wars, the bombs, the chemical(nuclear) experimentation and much more, upon another "Pole shift" any natural disaster caused by it will be on a MUCH, MUCH bigger scale.

They say the earth will live, but humanity will not. Now, these predicted dates, even though they have been predicted by at least 3 different people and/or charts/calenders, are not necessarily correct or precise. Science says what has been predicted WILL happen, eventually. BUT, it may still be another 10,000 years, it might be in 2 weeks, it might be next year. There is no clear way to exact the date in which the world will end, but it WILL happen, because it is a natural occurrence and it is inevitable. Of course there will be ways to survive though :P :O
