Am I the only person who assumes its divine providence if I try to do something and for whatever reason it doesn't work?

Example: I try to message cute girl on facebook, send two of them. Messages dont send for whatever reason, internets working and all. I automatically assume that if I did manage to message her, something bad would happen (use your imagination). So I dont and consider it a "close one".

Is it just me? >_<

I know what your saying, some times it seems like something is controlling how things work out. Lucky for me it is Always for the good.

Case in point: I was the head over a number of Departments at a Hospital, one department was Security and I stopped in late one night to see how the place was doing. I did not see the Security guard so I picked up a radio and was about to call him then just put it down. I turned around walked out of the section of the building where security is located down a number of hallways with like 7 turns out of the main 4 story hospital through an Atrium and into a 4 story medical office building, down the main hall to the physical therapy department, straight down a hall past a number of offices and exam rooms and opened a door to just one exam room and there he was sleeping. I walked straight to him without stopping. There were a lot of more likely places this guy would go to sleep or hang out. It was spooky, because this place is very big..
