revisiting this old chestnut...is there way to make this any easier...i have members that quit the WoW guild because i ask them to go apply and they tell me they did and i have to tell them no..u registered now u have to apply...they tell me a few choice words then quit......recruiting alone is hard enough as it is with out the added frustration of the website

In my opinion with dealing with applicants as a CGC in the past, if they're too lazy to spend an extra 3 minutes to apply after registering, they're not BBF material (these usaully are the same people who never get into TS, post on the forum, and cause drama). I ran into this problem all the time in Minecraft.

As for a solution however, I'm sure F1sh could find a way to put the registration and application on the same page. For example, perhaps at the bottom of the registration page there can be a little check box saying "do you wish to apply" and if you click it, it either opens up a new section or ungreys an area for you to fill in the rest of the material needed.

This has been mentioned many times before and in all honestly we need to make things a little more clear to those joining. Look at the minecraft wiki site i have created.

It simplifies alot of the confusion when they say uggh ive got to register and then apply then say yes it helps us keep track of who is where in the clan.

I know its a pain heck when i joined everyone waited 5 weeks not 2 weeks. We do this to sort out all of the rotten apples as Vyndorn said if they cannot manage to do a few things in regards to applying then they are not the exceptional players we really want.

BBF prides ourselfs on our players ask any of the veterans around here they consider each clan member a part of their family.

Many members have drove hours to meet other members and some have helped others financially through hard times. No clan i have ever been apart of that was a "1 click app" ever offered that and that is the plus to BBF.

Just a little story

On December 8th of 2010 about 6 weeks after my son was born we hard a house fire which devastated just about everything we had. Our laptops, a year supply of diapers, all of our sons new clothes, all of our clothes, and much more. Because of the fire my job decided to fire me as well so we were homeless and had no job. Luckaly our family helped us with many things we needed our X-mas gifts were returned to buy us socks and food.

The day of the fire i sent a TXT to one of the clan members who got on the forums as soon as he could and reported what i told him to the entire clan and all of a sudden i had other clan members calling me to see if we were ok and if they could help in any way. Word passed around and Hisgun actualey sent us some money to help with gas and such.

The clan helped me alot thru this rough time in my life and i appreciated it very much so and i don't think their are very other multi game clans out their that would of done the same.

I have not meet any clan member however many of them live very close to me and if we get the chance we plan on meeting. I consider the clan my other family and one day i will be able to provide someone with help like many members of the clan did for me during that fire.

WOW Chaser..dude...had no idea man...Hope you had insurance brother....Just one call to them and they'll cut you a check to tide you over...even pay for your hotel and food etc...

Yes we had insurance but since it was caused by an appliance they had to come and inspect.

It took the inspector about 2 weekds to come inspect and in that time we couldnt touch a thing in our house. Then after that it took about another 2 weeks for the paper work process to go thru before we received any money. I did put our house back together but the clan was a big moral booster for me.

I should clarify we had Home owners insurance (we do own our house) we did not have Renters Insurance (covers the contents of the house) so when we did get insurance money it went to the reconstruction. We did all the work our selfs so we managed to save alot of money.
