As a few of you already know, I do jrotc for the navy, and I have recently just started doing a police program called explorers.

So my question is for anybody who has military or prior law enforcement backgrounds: I'm looking to buy a pair of good handcuffs (these will be used for arrest if needed), any recommendations? (Must be chrome, chained connector between cuffs, and model 100)

I would ask the many cops i know but i dated all of their daughters :) so i dont think its a wise idea. However i did a little searching and saw this brand and trust me you acn never go wrong with some good S&W gear.

Can't go wrong with smith & Wesson cuffs. Sucks you can only go chain. Hinge cuffs are nice for those you arrest and want with less mobility. Make sure to buy graphite when you buy them or you'll procrastinate on getting it later and the cuffs don't operate as smooth.

From my personal experience from doin snatch & grabs in Iraq nothin beats half inch zip strips
