I leave for OSUT (Active Army) on March 11th (actual ship date March 12th), I will be at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for Basic Training/AIT. 9 days until my life starts rolling, wish me the best!

I was in the Army for 5 years deployed 3 times....just remember... Basic training is nothing more then a game... all the yelling is jus to break you down and rebuild you...Active army is nothing like that..and there is no more shinning shoes....ACU's are rough leather boots...no more iron either.

Our navy boots still have to be shined lol, and some of our uniforms have to be ironed as well. Anyhow have fun Will, see you when u get back!

What's JROTC 1 step up form the girl-scout or something? You won't be that far from me and across the big river. (but I am not going up there to see you they may want to keep me). Good luck and remember it is just a few weeks of hell and then thing will clam down.
