Horrible news. Thankful the fire at the JFK Library turned out to be a seperate but also unfortunate happening. Thoughts go out to those in Boston, and any injured.

I dont usualey follow the new via social media right after an event like this but from the "local news rooms" they announced that the PD found 2 other devices and defused them. I also read that cell phone service was turned off for Boston to prevent another explosion via cell phone.

2 dead so far and almost 100 wounded.

This is a very sad day and the people who were a part of this will pay.

3 dead, 144+ wounded. The pictures are just horrible. One of my schools history/government teachers was at the race as a runner. He was not harmed by the blast which is good.

Regardless of what party you are, creed you believe in, or gender you may be, we are all Americans (well most of us clannies). I would like to thank all the brave men and women who helped with the grim situation in Boston today. For the victims of this grave event, I hope the very best for you and may you recover fully.
