BF BC2 problems

BF BC2 problems was created by [BBF]DakotaNut

since the latest update for BC2 i have a terrible internet lag issue. just to give you an idea TenaciousD and I live in the same town. TenD can have a ping of 150 and i can have a ping of 275-300 in the same server. I have tried a reinstall of the game i have ran a malware bytes and Ccleaner to get rid of unwanted junk.

These are my Comp specs
OS: Win 7 Ultamite 64 bit
8Gbs of Ram
CPu: Core 2 Dou 2.8Gbs
vid cards: 2 9800 GT's in SLI
HDD: 600Gbs w/ 520Gbs free
i run a dual internet connection with 2 10/100/1000 ethernet cards bridged

If more specs are needed let me know

Well I think I found your problem :p

Your OS and CPU don't exist, and you're running 8 Gigabits of RAM, which I didn't know was possible. And the HDD, what's with that?

It's most likely an ISP issue, have you run speedtest? Do a speedtest and pingtest bench and post them back here. I do hope you tried resetting your router :P

It is a wired connection right? And have you tested other games?

yes i have reset my router and modem about once a week and yes its a wired connection. i ran a speed test and sfter several speed test my results ranged from 2.5 - 3.0 Mbs download and 55 - 60 Kbs upload. my upload seems extremely low to me. yes i've tried other games such as black ops combat arms need for speed world atlantica online. i do experience some lag in all of these games but no more then what i would expect. like 2 sec jittersbut thats about the extent of it

What ping are you getting in the speedtest?

the test didnt give me a ping rate. however i will search for more internet speed test that gives me a ping rateing then

- i finally get some better speed, but my modem is very unstable....it might reset withing 2 minutes, or stay on for 4 hrs....I might have them take the speed back down a bit...
my ping is still around 150ms....not great, but it's playable

I have the same issue Dakota. Look at my internet speeds and in game I have a 200-300 ping. The game was fine when I first got it and now I cant stand to play it because of the updates.

that upload speed is messed up...i woudl think that could cause issues.
i have often had ping issues, but was very server dependent and usually i jsut had to switch servers and i was ok.

i dont know anymore i have switch routers but the router has the same speeds as my old own. so im considering may be a new one that can handle high speeds or calling comcast and get them to make my pay for a better modem then the one that i have
