IDK why they think the Kinect is a good idea so many people are creeped out by it and in todays age people want a safe place they call home and dont want to be able to be moniterd by a camera at random.

the only "cool" thing about it is that the distance for it to see a human is a little closer. Perfect for dorms, apartments, flats, ect.

The only reason they took out the DRM for XboxOne in my opinion is because the Playstation 4 was received so well at E3. They knew in their little tiny hearts that if they kept DRM, the Xbox would tank. And not tank in a good way.

IMO, Microsoft just completely screwed themselves over. First impressions are everything, and they made a pretty awful one. Both companies want to make money, yes, but Sony is at least trying to make their new console as user-friendly and as affordable as they can make it. Sony has always made better consoles, but Microsoft just poured a lot of money into it's online experience with Xbox Live. At least in my experiences, people just would get the Xbox 360 merely because others were doing the same, leaving the PS3 to dry.

Not sure why you are worried about Microsoft using Kinnect to spy, it seems the US government spies on you through any means they can! Haha

Edit--
I would also like to add that the fact Microsoft would try and take the rights away to share games etc is bad. The one and only reason they removed all that is because it made the PS4 pre orders sore and there's fall. I don't doubt that in the future they will be able to simply turn on those features remotely and there will be nothing you can do.
