By now I'd expect everyone to know what DOTA 2 is. The International 3 (3 million dollar prize pot) just wrapped up last week and there has been a large influx of curious players due to the professional coverage and quality of the event. I'm wondering if any current members would like to pursue putting a team together or whether that would be in BBF's interest in the future. It isn't the kind of game that is immediately enjoyable unless the players grouped are of similar skill level. I'd like to play with some players that have 500+ games play. I'd also offer to mentor/guide players that are just starting out or need some help.

The game is a cruel mistress but is more rewarding than most games I've played. You can download and play DOTA 2 for free at www.steampowered.com . There is absolutely no pay to win or pay to play; only cosmetic items to buy. All heroes and updates are released for free and you have Steam's fantastic interface to back it.

Keep trying to get peoples attention for the game. Also see if you can point outside players of the game to our forums and fill the rosters!

Anyone outside of BBF that you play with that may join us Core?

I'm probably going to put a team together of my own and I'll have them join under the BBF banner. It is a slow process because the community can be poisonous at times.
