One of the most unique games I've seen in a long time. I had never heard of it until I saw a friend on steam playing. This game has a lot of strategy mixed into the fast action. I would be interested in hearing feedback if anyone has played it before.

For 10 dollars, i've jumped on the bandwagon. Downloading right now.

I played a couple rounds of this game today and it was a lot of fun, but extremely confusing for me as to what im supposed to be doing.... beyond the obvious of taking over the map.

There were a few waypoints indicating where we could build something to forward the momentum, but ultimately i felt like i was the "tard" player on the team that everyones mad at... I killed a lot of people and destroyed quite a few enemy structures and we ultimately won, but I don't know what exactly happened.... If I were to guess, each team gets a main base opposite from each other and once that main base is destroyed, its game over.

You make little mini bases as you take over areas and earn yourself more spawns and resources to "evolve" your aliens or upgrade your marines with. Taking out certain structures obviously does different damage to the enemy... just like any other strategy game... taking out the alien eggs will lower their respawns, and blowing up the portals will lower the marine respawns, etc.

some structures gather resources to be used, among other things.

This game has a lot of potential for a clan game just due to the teamwork nature of it. The gameplay felt very smooth but it will take some time before i fully know what im doing. Hopefully RPG's brain will soak up all the needed info and i can just do what he says and we win.
