Here is a better idea, how about we keep everything the same and earn money for towns. or perhaps combine efforts with your friends! *GASP* Its so hard to get money by myself Guardian! Yeah i know. It's quite challenging. That is why its fun and interesting. If the price for a town goes down the there is gonna be a whole bunch of towns being made that only have 1 person in it...(the founder). On previous servers towns were only made JUST to have a protected HOME, not a town.

Bottom line, Keep things the same and accept the challenge.

This is what i mean when i say the only suggestion that has been made thus far is to decrease the prices. I feel as though decreasing the prices is circumventing something much larger and would just like to get to the root cause of things and i am willing to work with you all here.

Before i make any changes i want everyone to be happy with the decision.

Now $1.000 is a nice even amount for taxes i agreed with that and will change it once all parties agree.

Mow for towns yes the are expensive im trying to make things sensible and reasonable at the same time. In Real life when you buy a chunk of land your going to be paying taxes and everything else on it if we made the first few plots free to claim then there is no challenge and you arent going to do anything with your town.

Take a second to look over the town commands HERE remember you can change the way your plots work the amount you tax people and much much more.

I would suggest we could out the town settlement size back into chat bu it cluttered things so much and that's why we all decided to get rid of it in the first place, but i can take some time configuring the names and settings and we can re enable it that way you can proudley say yeah my town has 3 people or 10 people and show your strength to others via chat.

I do not understand this "challenge" you all speak of when it comes to money..

MONEY IS NOT A CHALLENGE

In fact Iron is way overpriced and should be nerfed because that is my bread and butter, I go into already dug mine shafts and dig out the iron and gold people leave behind and use a fortune pick on redstone and lapis. I hardly ever pick diamonds because IRON IS WAY BETTER...

However, I do think that there should be at least 4 blocks total given to new Mayors instead of one. I mean I get you can have cool control over stuff but still throw us a bone and at least give us 4 town blocks to start out with.

Like DuCe said, money isn't really a challenge. One just has to put forth the effort to go mining. I am fine with changes (if any are made) to Towny. The town size in te chat thing: I would not suggest we go that way, because you said yourself, it cluttered things. And I don't want you (Chaser) spending all your time configuring things, instead of playing, which Minecraft is all about. Bottom line for me: I am fine with anything. Money isn't a huge deal, and if Towny messes other things up , don't use/add in it.

I understand money isnt an issue for you since you have the highest power level from mining out your plot of land and mining in lode mines duce.

You're attempting to invalidate my argument, but before I had a town to "level out mining" via my plots, I was just like everyone else. I don't see how I had a prior advantage over anyone, in fact I am a late returner to this server, you all had more time on the server than me. Just because now I happen to have a high level doesn't mean I make a huge sum of money more than everyone else. It is easy to pick out the one that is successful and try to say "oh well he is special", but on minecraft no one is special and no one has an advantage. MCMMO allows me to sometimes (11.45%) to get a bonus drop, so I get 11.45% more than anyone else which means from my wealth $24970.16 was free to me.

With that, how do you account for the 193,109.84 I made WITHOUT my "special" high mining powers?
